The Chinese language media have been following this effort with great interest, and had collectively decided to offer coverage prior to the Fall 2012 release of Escape to Gold Mountain.

RTHK filmed David Wong (黃海天) as part of their documentary series on the story of the Chinese to North America. This show aired across Asia and parts of North America on August 4, 2012. A full English language version of this documentary is now being prepared by RTHK, and will be available in Spring 2013.
